htmlArea RTE funktioniert nicht

Hallo allerseits!

Ich hab mich an Typo3 rangewagt (auf WinXP XAMPP installiert)
Hab schon den tollen Workshop von St@ff.en durchgearbeitet und kann mir inzwischen eine zweigeteilte Navigation ausgeben lassen.

Wenn ich allerdings Seiteninhalte bearbeiten will erhalte ich folgende Meldung:
"Der Editor wird geladen. Bitte warten..."
Ich hab lange gewartet glaubt mir

Hab schon google und die Forensuche befragt, herausgekommen sind lediglich ein paar arme User die das selbe Problem haben aber keine Lösungen.
Deshalb frage ich hier nochmal explizit nach:
Habt ihr das Problem lösen können oder kann man mit Typo3 nur PlainText HTML einfügen?
Der Editor wäre notwendig, da der endgültige Benutzer sicher kein HTML kann.

das Problem hatte ich noch nicht, zumindest nicht im BE.
Das kann nur ein Javascript-Problem sein. Teste mal einen anderen Browser oder überprüfe die Browsereinstellungen hinsichtlich Javascript.

Hab's in Firefox, IE 6 und Opera getestet, überall gleiches Resultat.

Vielleicht blockt da irgendeine Software das Formular....

Mal sehen. Werde wohl erst die nächste Woche dazukommen das näher zu betrachten.
Werde den Fehler dann auf jeden Fall posten.

Ich hatte das Problem letztens auch. Bei mir wars eine falsch benannte CSS-Sonderklasse für den RTE, die das Ganze unendlich verlangsamte. Als ich die richtig umbenannte, gings plötzlich. Anscheinend suchte er die ganze Zeit diese Klasse ...
Würde darum mal auf eine falsche Konfiguration tippen.
