Newtek released LightWave 7 yesterday afternoon at Siggraph. The upgrade to the popular 3D modeling application reportedly includes a Squash and Stretch tool; the ability to Load and Save Hierarchical Motion data containing all the relevant components, motions and channels for a character group for realistic animation; and the ability to allow mass scene changes to be easily executed.
