GB Component Set - Gregory Burch
XFTree and XFTreeNode Extend the Macromedia FTree FTreeNode Classes so that they can load in xml documents for their structure.
This is an extension of the Macromedia FTree and FTreeNode classes, as well as some memory leak fixes. (Mainly with deleting the data that is associated with a node when that node is removed from the tree)
New functions include:
XFTree.load(XML or URL)
XFTreeNode.getNodeIndex()
XFTreeNode.getLevel()
XFTreeNode.toString()
Main functionality however is within methods that have been rewritten to work with xml. Such as XFtreeNode.getData() XFTreeNode.setData(), and XFTreeNode.getLevel(). You can look at the GBComponents.fla itself for an example of an XML editor that works with these XML Flash Tree components.
setData and getData work a bit different than before. getData() will return a string representative of the nodes structure. setData() will set the nodes structure, this takes an XML object.
Now supports text nodes!
