<div> wird von IE6 verschoben, von FF 2.0 aber richtig positioniert

auf meiner in überarbeitung befindlichen seite wird ein <div> layer (der bei mouseover über den gelben wmv/mov-button unsichtbar wird und das hintergrundbild der darunterliegenden <td> sichtbar macht) von FF 2.0 richtig, von IE6 allerdings vertikal verschoben angezeigt.

habe alle möglichen positionierungsarten durchprobiert, aber keine lösung gefunden.

für tips wäre ich dankbar

problem gelöst:

<div> relativ zu <td> mit top und left 0px positionieren und es klappt.

Wollte eben schon schreiben, dass alles o.k. aussieht!

Was mir allerdings auffällt. Ich habe sozusagen überall Scrollbalken! Selbst bei einer 1024 x 768 Auflösung. Das sieht unschön aus.

Ich würde mal zu einem korrekten Doctype mit URL greifen und vorher mit der CSS anweisung

* {margin: 0; padding: 0}

Alle Abstände vereinheitlichen. Schon haben sich die meisten Probleme bei unterschiedlicher Darstellung zwischen den Browsern geregelt..

da die überarbeitung meiner seite jetzt im wesentlichen abgeschlossen ist hier mal der richtige link (für freunde 'eigenartiger' road movie's vielleicht ganz interessant: 'berlin jerusalem - a limescapade' 36min.; online, kostenlos unter creative commons license)

was die scrollbalken anbetrifft: die vorstehend verlinkte seite ist über eine js-weiche in zwei auflösungen/grössen vorhanden: kleinergleich 1024 und größer.
