Erhebliche Dartellungsprobleme im IE
Hi,
habe folgende Seite designed http://www.jow-online.com/w2f/
In den Browsern Mozilla 1.3, Netscape 7, opera 7 und Mozilla Firebird 0.6.1 ist die Darstellung einwandfrei, jedoch beim IE wird das Layout total zerhauen...
Dachte zuerst es wäre ein Fehler wegen unzulässiger Tags,... aber der Validator von W3C sagt es wäre Html 1.0 validated, und außerdem wird eine Seite ähnlichen Aufbaus nicht vom IE zerhauen.
Woran könnte das liegen? Hab schon vieles ausprobiert, aber noch keine Lösung gefunden...

hi!
ja, dein xhtml ist valide, nicht aber dein css
desweiteren sind mir auf den ersten blick doch einige fehler im quelltext aufgefallen, wie z.b.:
<table width="750" style="border:1px soli.......
width: 750! 750 was?? pixel, prozent???
also die site muss ich mir abends oder morgen mal genau anschaun, zzt. leider zuwenig freiraum.. |

Der Validator mag keine Sonderzeichen in den Klassen/ID-Namen (Unterstriche usw.)!
Übrigens: Lass mal die Größenangaben bei dem Bild im Head-Bereich weg:

Du kannst auch statt:
border-left:1px solid #000000; border-right:1px solid #000000; border-bottom:1px solid #000000; border-top:1px solid #000000;
einfach border: 1px solid #000000; schreiben, das betrifft dann alle Seiten vom Rahmen.
Is kürzer und übersichtlicher!

so, Größenangabe im Logo weg, XHTML-Fehler geändert, XHTMl valid, CSS valid
Trotzdem is der IE zu doof es anzuzeigen...
Kann das am colspan="*" Tag liegen?

Bei CSS ist die Angabe einer Breite eine Pflichtangabe. Bei den HTML Attributen, sieht es da anders aus.
Das width Attribut erhält einen Wert %Length, der Wert %Length kann 3 Typen annehmen:
absolut: Pixel, wobei eine fehlende Angabe der Einheit automatisch Pixel bedeutet.
relativ: also %. hier muss die Einheit angegeben werden.
Proportional: recht unbekannt, aber dennoch erlaubt. Der Platz kann hier proportional zur Breite der Tabelle berechnet werden und wird mit einem "i*" gekennzeichnet. Wobei i eine Integerzahl grösser Null sein muß. Nur "*" ist gleichzusetzen mit "1*"
nachdem alle anderen Attribute ausgerechnet wurden, die Breiten zugeteilt wurden und noch 60Pixel Platz bleiben, dann bedeuten 1* = 10 Pixel, 2* = 20 Pixel und 3* = 30 Pixel.
die Proportionale Breitenzuordnung ist aber verdammt buggy
